Iran artist couple to host doc celebration

Iranian actress Roya Nonahali and her documentarian husband Ramin Heidari-Faroughi are to host 2017 Indie Celebration of Documentary Films in Iran.

The chair of the event, Sam Kalantari told media on Wednesday that the couple will act as host of the 9th edition for the documentary event.

Kalantari also noted that the gala will be held Saturday evening, September 9, 2017.

Nonahali is one of the most famed stage and screen actors while her husband’s artistic works mostly focus on documntray films. Heidari-Frough is the head of Documentary Film Producers Guild of Iran.
